Expiry date
For 'American-style' options and warrants, the holder can exercise rights at any time up to the 'expiry date'. After the expiry date has passed, the holder's rights to buy or sell the underlying asset expire.For 'European-style' options/warrants, exercise can only take place on the expiry date and not before.
