Medium term

The expressions 'short term', 'medium term' and 'long term' mean different things in different contexts and, indeed, they mean different things to different people. In general, the stock market uses the terms as follows:short term - anything from 1 week to 2 yearsmedium term - anything from 2 years to 5 yearslong term - anything from 5 years to 30 years!
